HOMELAND: A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME AND MEMORY (work in progress)

This series revisits the first decade of my life in the San Joaquin Valley, California—a time filled with light, joy, and a sense of wholeness.

By blending my contemporary photographs with historical postcards, I simultaneously reflect on my memories of the past and how the region has changed and yet seems to be the same. This work questions the reliability of memory and how it shapes our understanding of both past and present.
